Our preferred approach is to work from the outset within a multi disciplinary design team ensuring the site layout reflects site attributes, agency requirements, new community expectations and develops a unique own ‘sense of place’ A collaborative planning and design approach also ensures a strong integration between the desired urban form, infrastructure and landscape or environmental setting of the development site.
Some of our recent estate designs have included major entry features and planted boulevards, lakes and natural creek style drainage corridoor, open space or council required parklands, walkways, cycle ways, playgrounds and themed gardens of luxuriant foliage and meandering mounded lawns.
In recognition of the commitment many clients make to the landscape within an overall subdivision, U PLAN can also provide cost effective landscape design kits for all new home lots. These ensure at a residential scale, that liveability, estate covenants and council conditions are surpassed. |

Site analysis and identification of opportunities and constraints including visual assessments of an estate and surrounds
- Generation of conceptual designs, sketches and cost estimates leading to the provision of Development Application documentation
- Detailed ‘for construction’ landscape plans as a basis for council or agency required Operational Works applications, project tendering and contractor implementation
- Comprehensive landscape design documentation, project cost estimates, landscape works and maintenance specifications, t along with ongoing technical landscape architectural advice and project support
- Production of full colour plans, artist illustrations and support for agency review, community consultations and sales/marketing use
- Landscape (theme or image) reports outlining the site, vision and key qualities of the planned estate
- Development assistance and management of on site project nurseries, that may grow street and parkland trees, shrubs, ground covers and propagate local seeds for re vegetation and other new works
