Coastal and Bushland Reserves |
U PLAN's skills and experiences range from large-scale coastal, wetland and bushland projects to site specific designs in many small reserves, all requiring attention to both strategic and detailed issues. Our proven design capabilities within natural areas have been recognised through a number of environmental awards.
All coastal and bushland landscapes evoke a special character that can be enhanced through the successful design of each area. A successful design is one that reflects the site’s specific environmental qualities and attributes, is used by members of the community in an appropriate and sustainable manner.
Our extensive experience includes practical knowledge of coastal and bushland vegetation management principles and techniques including; bushland re generation, coastal re vegetation, weed management, local seed collection and plant propagation programs.
A hallmark of U PLAN’s work is achieving a balance between site users and the long term protection of a site’s environmental qualities while incorporating and designing recreational infrastructure including; bike and pedestrian pathways, boardwalks, shelters, interpretative facilities, signage and other elements.
For each project U PLAN strives to apply "best practice" processes, technology, policies and products. This includes our long term use, through design, of recycled plastic products. |
